This one-year full time course will provide you with a broad educational base for a range of business careers. It will also give you the qualifications you need to progress to further education. This course can be taken alongside English Language or Maths GCSE retakes.

Evidence for assessment can be generated through a range of activities including portfolio-based assessment, role play, practical performance and verbal presentations. Two units will be assessed externally through externally on-screen and paper based examinations.
An overall course grade Distinction, which is equal to 4 GCSE grades at A, will enable you to progress to a higher Level 3 qualification such as BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business (equal to 3 A levels), or to enter employment.
