Creative Media Production (Moving Image Pathway) UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma

Equivalent to 3 A levels.

This course is designed for students who have a strong interest in the study of moving image productions, such as Film and TV. Our programme of study is creative, critical and compelling in its approach, offering a unique combination and equal balance of theory and practical work. During the 2-year course you will work with leading practitioners, reaping the benefits of close supervision from industry trained staff who are leaders in film, television and media production. Your study of Media will help you develop your appreciation of moving image and print media’s rich artistic, social and political traditions. Students on this course will take part in a work placement scheme.

Course Assessment

Assessment is through weekly extensive practical work, written tasks and presentations. This will form a portfolio through which students can demonstrate the knowledge and skills gained on the course.

Upon successful completion of the course students will be well equipped to progress to entry-level positions in the media industry or apply for undergraduate study in a range of media related courses.

Entry Requirements

Grade 4 in media (if taken) and Grade 4 in English Language
OR
BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Media with Merit
